Appeal

All the students are hereby encouraged to ask questions in the class. A few classes with individual problem solving sessions will be conducted before mid semester examination.
All should come prepared with difficulties in the class.

    I have the following doubts while solving the filter structure.


    Q1.What is the real impulse response?
    what property does it have if the length of the sequence is 4.

    The question is:If the FIR posessess the above propertywith the real impulse values

    H(e^j0)=13
    H(e^j(3pi/4))=-3-j4
    H(e^j(pi))=-3

    Q2.If H1(z)is given by:
    H1(z)=-1+2z^-1-3z^-2+6z^-3-3z^-4+2z^-5-z^-6
    then How to find its roots i.e the zeros of the T.F?

  2. Q1.In designing High Pass filter,
    we have written
    h(n)=-[sin(wcn)]/pi;
    then we have written
    h(n)=1-wc/pi;
    How does this step come, I did not understand?
